And now here's Part 11 of the Traitor Game Essentials re-presentation of Traitor Game VII: A Galaxy Far, Far Away. In this installment, the Announcer provides some helpful recap, Kyon gives his insights, and the mysterious Malone says something very strange.
After a short walk Kenny leads goku to a broken down hut in a wide clearing. Trees rocks and muddy water was being thrown as walls and a ceiling were being put in place. It look to guku that a million invisible men were working at top speed to clear the swamp and erect a large house.

"welcome young guku! welcome to vader's retreat! As you can see I'm using the force to clear land and build a place where we, and the rest to follow can live and plan out attack against the slug. the house will take awhile to finish. anything you can do to help will be....helpful. Come let's get to work!
Cologne looked at the monitor. It seemed now that Yoda's hut was not the only structure where those on Dagobah could retreat to. Still, the area nearby would be as good a 'camp site' as any for those sent there.

Darth Vader's idea of using the Force to build a larger shelter was an interesting one. Yoda's hut would be too small to hold everyone who'd be sent to Dagobah over the course of the game, so building a larger structure made a certain amount of sense.

"I trust you'll have made some progress on that structure by the time anyone else gets sent there." Cologne said to Vader through the 'Dagobah monitor'. "Kenny McCormick and Mr. Crusher can probably be of assistance as well. In the meantime, you can give us a clue as to who you think might have been the killer, though you are not allowed to vote."

Cologne turned her attention to the others. "The means used to carry out Goku's murder indicates that the Imperial Stormtroopers did their homework. I trust the rest of you will continue to do your research as well."

Crimson King 02-25-2007 12:04 PM

Deadpool suddenly appears on top of Kenny, crushing him.

Deadpool: oops, that wasn't suppose to happen. Anyways, I got something for you guys to eat since this place is a worse dump than Wolverine's house. I love this bodyslide thing.

Deadpool presses a button on his belt and reppears on Tatooine.

"Alright! Ill help!" Goku then disappears from vader's sight, and reappears helping erect the house with vaders force powers. "I'm no slouch myself vader!"

OOC: The deadline for this voting round is Monday at 11pm, by the way.

Rebel Alliance members, be sure to PM me with your guess!

Chris Lang 02-25-2007 02:33 PM

Cologne emerged from Darth Jubba's office after another meeting with him. She entered the area where most of the surviving players were gathered.

"The Rebel Alliance members have guessed...incorrectly." Cologne announced.

Anthony Johanson 02-25-2007 02:37 PM

Overhearing the conversation between Kyon and Marcus, and decided to add his input:

"Well, I wouldn't exactly call this jumping the gun. He, at least has some semblance of a reason for voting for you. Jumping the gun in this case would be voting for Deadpool, for example, because he has violent tendencies.

However, I do concur on one point, this Goku, as I was doing some research myself, did not have an extreme fear to pointy objects. Though, that fear could be inputed into his mind by say, a telepath."

Schornforce 02-25-2007 02:44 PM

Oh no! Goku?! Isn't he, like Superman tough or something? I'm not all pop-culturey as Xander or Buffy, but I do know that kid was supposed to be all ubertastic when it comes to fighting... and, well, eating-- but someone managed to beat him...

Wait a minute! Deadpool just did some weird teleporty thing to Dagobah! I thought none of us could leave this place! At least people (and oddly colored animals) who aren't working for sluggy freelance-gangster, that is. I get the suspicion he's at least partly responsible. If he has some sort of teleporty power or gadget, he could've easily gotten out of the trap he was in earlier, helped kill Wesley, and gotten back. Also, hello? Crazy much?

Even if he isn't a traitor, he seems to be major liability here. What with grenades in the refrigerator and attacking limbo-- er Dagobah residents and all. Yeah, I think Deadpool could very well be responsible. He's so unpredictable, it's no stretch to think he could take even a seasoned fighter like Goku by surprise. I'll do some more research, but I feel fairly confident about this-- hm... but then I thought the same thing about Darth Vader.

Ergh. I'm feeling totally stressed over this. Maybe I should do some private meditating before going all research-y again.

"If anyone needs me, I'll be going into one of the unoccupied quarters for some alone time. Sorry, these murders are really giving me the wiggins."

Joe Acro 02-25-2007 02:47 PM

Courage was horrified upon seeing the fate of Goku. But then he heard a couple of snaps coming from the kitchen.

"Yes!" he exclaimed.

He returned to the kitchen and gathered his traps. He grabbed the rats, threw the traps in the trash, and rejoined the group. With a smug look on his face, he waved the dead rats in his hand in clear view of the Reptoid. He only hoped his plan would work.

" My gut has gotten me out of a lot of jams in the past" Marcus said. " Now it is telling me that you are not as innocent as you appear. Besides, you do come from a dimesion where you do know alot about most of us hear." Marcus told Kyon.

Crimson King 02-25-2007 03:21 PM

Deadpool: hey, i thought telefragging only counts as a kill in Quake. How was I suppose to know that guy was gonna be there? i was just bringing them food. Anyways, I'm gonna take a nap.

GoGo Yubari 02-25-2007 04:07 PM

A wrong guess. That means that aside from looking at evidence and thinking logically and rationally, we're essentially firing blind until we can hit the right target.

"Look. On the list of competitors in this game, the ones I'm really familiar with are Goku, Luffy, Geno, and Tendou-san. Aside from that, in my world it looks like most of you are from Western culture, which I know little to nothing about, aside from the fact that we seem to be in the Star Wars universe and Wesley was from a Star Trek program. Secondly, as Geno also said and I'll reiterate, I can't recall any instance where Goku has had a major fear of sharp objects. So with all due respect, you're voting for me for something that anyone and everyone in this game can do and furthermore, for something that nobody knew or could have known about by basic research like that alone.

Right now, there are two things I've noticed that bother me more than anything else. First of all, both deaths thusfar seem to result from traps, to some extent. Wesley Crusher was crushed... uh, no pun intended... by a boulder, which implies either superhuman strength or maybe a catapult or something, and Goku was terrified by sharp objects, that led to him being unable to defend himself from the rancor. We do, if I recall, have someone in this game who's pretty knowledgeable with that sort of thing, don't we?

But that's not what my big problem is right now. Anyone could come up with something like that and lead you to the conclusion that it's Dick Dastardly's fault; after all, we almost jumped the gun on him last round, too. Instead I have a question for... Martin, I think your name is? I'm sorry if I got it wrong, but. You voted for Goku out of nowhere, and didn't really give an explanation to boot. The following day, he's found dead. Would you mind explaining your reasons for voting for him, please?"

Anthony Johanson 02-25-2007 05:38 PM

Geno, with the alliance making an incorrect guess, decided to make his accusation:

"As I was hinting, I vote Emma Frost. Mainly because of this one characteristic with Goku: Pointy Objects were never a crippling fear for him. With the basic reasearch, that's when I started to become wary at what caused this sudden fear change. Then, I realized that Emma Frost, being a high-level telepath, could have easily altered Goku's brain to make him have a crippling fear of pointy objects, thus taking down a potential threat.

She could just as easily be the brains behind this operation, as she could use ample use of her telepathy to lure people into these traps, while the other two take care of the dirty work."

Chris Lang 02-25-2007 06:11 PM

Cologne spoke up.

"Geno brings up an interesting point, however he is mistaken by assuming that Goku's fear of needles was not a pre-existing condition. Whoever made this kill did not just search one source for information. Goku is a character from both a manga and an anime. The manga did not mention this, but according to the anime, he has a strong fear of needles. If anyone so much as mentions one, he cowers and runs or hides. Any one of us could have obtained this information with further searches on the computer in the library."

"This is not to clear anyone from suspicion, of course. It is only to point out that whoever the Imperial Stormtroopers are, they did their homework."

The Purple Skull 02-25-2007 06:25 PM

Traitor Game Announcer: Welcome back, Traitor Game fans! When we last left, Dirty Dick Dastardly accused Deadpool of being a traitor. Twice, he tried to trap Deadpool, and twice his plan backfired on him.

And just a few hours ago, Darth Vader was banished to Dagobah. Unfortunately, it was revealed that he was not one of the Imperial Stormtroopers! Soon after, we found out that Goku was the next victim of the Stormtroopers! Voting has now begun and right now, Emma Frost has taken the lead with 2 votes. There is also a 3-way tie between Kyon, Deadpool, and the real traitor, Dick Dastardly!

Quiet you. You know for a fact that I am not a traitor!

TG Announcer: Prove it.

I do not have to explain my innocence to a simpleton like you.

TG Announcer: Fine. We'll just have to wait until the Rogue Watcher accuses you!

Ha! He doesn't scare me!

TG Announcer: Yeah, sure. But anyway, what fiendish plot are you developing now?

I am glad you asked, hahaha! You see, the person I am voting for is still Deadpool! And I have a plan that will expose him of his true colors. Let's just say that the Fourth of July is coming early! Hahahaha!

TG Announcer: Will Dick Dastardly finally catch the Merc-With-A-Mouth? Stay tuned Traitor Game fans to find out!

after having been quiet for too long, mostly because I was at the comic-con all yesterday, Dr. Cox decided to finally speak up.

Yokay, morons. Listen up, and listen good. Since this "fear of needles" crap is what scared the little kid with the oddly shaped hair, someone did some research, as the old lady said. Now, Redhead (willow), who was with you before the kill in the library? Maybe one of those people did it, learning about the kid's fear on that Wikipedia site. I'm not putting in my vote yet, because frankly, I'm not sure who it could be.

Anthony Johanson 02-25-2007 06:34 PM

Geno was slightly shaken by this revelation, but stated:

"In which case, I void my vote until I find an ample suspect to change it to."

OOC: We are allowed to change votes once per round, right?

I see that Darth Vader has been wrongfully banished. And to top it all off, Goku was the next victim. You fools need to get your act together! For this round, I call Dr. Cox up to the stand!

Deadpool: What's wikipedia? My computer has been dead for the last few years. And just wondering, why is that guy scared of needles? He's like Superman except cooler, and can turn his hair color yellow. And Superman is suppose to have skin like iron. Gah this is making me even more insane. Anyways, its obvious i can't even get close to him since hes superman and his awesome aura would vaporize me in an instant. And i take the analysing part as a complement since people usually say It can't tell the difference between a car and a bigger car.

And yeah, that Emma Frost chick seems to be strong. She might be able to get around the Awesome Aura.

OOC: Yes, you're allowed to change votes once per round. But keep in mind that Cologne wasn't clearing ANYONE of the murder. She was just saying that Goku's weakness was a pre-existing one, and not created out of whole cloth. So withdrawing your vote is kind of an over-reaction.

OOC: Well, when I base my entire vote process on the fact of the aforementioned one, and it is void, evidently I may need to re-trace my steps. It's not so much an over-reaction, as it is an intent to make sure if I'm away on Monday that I don't contribute to a banishment that was incorrect. If I re-trace my steps, and still think it is that one, I will re-instate my vote. If not, I change it.

To give an example, the last traitor game, I was voting off the Shrike, a Secret Avenger, before being persuaded to vote against Vader, who was a traitor. If I wasn't there at the time for ample persuasion, it may have been Shrike that may have been offed due to the close score and my contributions. This is to ensure a situation like that doesn't happen again, as the votes this round are close.

Traitor Game Announcer: Welcome back, Traitor Game fans! If you remember, Dick Dastardly once again voted for Deadpool. He’s probably wrong though.

Oh shut up and just do your job!

TG Announcer: When we last left off, slimy Dick Dastardly was plotting his next trap for Mr. Wilson. He boasted that the Fourth of July was coming early. Let’s check it out.

Hahaha! If you look above you, there is a balloon with an M-360 Firecracker attached to it. Right now, it is currently floating above that fool Deadpool. Now if you look below you, I have a teterboard rigged up with Muttley on the end of it. I will jump off this ledge, and land on the other end of the teterboard. This will catapult Muttley into the air where he will fire his blowdart right at the balloon. The balloon will pop and drop the firecracker onto Deadpool, incapacitating him. (Dastardly falls right on Darth Jubba’s cactus plant.)

Drat! Now Muttley, be careful! This isn’t like plucking a chicken’s feathers!

(With pliers in his hands, Muttley begins plucking the needles out of Dastardly’s rear end.)

The Rogue Watcher!

I see that Darth Vader has been wrongfully banished. And to top it all off, Goku was the next victim. You fools need to get your act together! For this round, I call Dr. Cox up to the stand!

(Rogue Watcher lets off a tiny giggle.)

I apologize for that. For some reason, I find his name rather amusing. Hehe, "Dr. Cox"......

(Rogue Watcher is noticeably having a hard time containing himself. When he can't hold it anymore...)

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

(Everyone looks at him awkwardly.)

(Regains his composure) Sorry.
Owah (oh), no. You've gaught (got) to be kidding me. Dear god, Josephine, did ya really have to put me up on the pedestal of jackasses? Seriously, do you think I'd have the motive or the power to take out that Trekkie with a boulder, or attack the weird-hair kid with needles, then throw him in that pit? I've never even heard of either one. So, if you think for one god damn second that I could be responsible, you've got it all wrong. If anything, it's got to be someone who's been doing research. I haven't even started, and I have no capabilites of knowing about them otherwise.

Evinlea had been standing motionless in a corner since before the banishment of Vader. She had taken everything in. Now she decided to make her voice heard.

"So this Darth Vader was innocent. Perhaps he should have tried defending himself a little better. Since he was innocent it appears he and Dastardly are not working together. But also, Dick is such an incompetent loon he surely cannot be a Stormtrooper. So I must look at the death of Goku. It is suspicious that he died after being voted for banishment by the Reptile. With the Reptile's refusal to answer to the accusation of why he voted for Goku, the false human must get my vote. Lizard-Man, I accuse you!"

OOC: Weirdopky - I just saw your offer to meet at the Con. Sorry, I missed it. I woulda tried to meet up for a bit. Hope you enjoyed yourself. I managed to score Hayden Panetiere's autograph myself. Pretty girl. I almost picked up some Green Lantern Artwork by Ivan Reis but passed as I already have a couple of great pages by him. All in all, decent Con, Artist Alley needs to be bigger though. When Popular artist's get a line it just bogs down the area too much.

I heard ya, Superheroic. My bro had to wait on line for J. Michael Strazynski and Steve McNiven, and it took forever to walk through the lines. I wanted to go to the photo session with Hayden Panatierre, but by the time we tried, there were no more tickets. Also, took some video of Stan Lee, but couldn't get too close. I still had fun, considering I got to meet David Finch, who's been drawing the awesome new Moon Knight series.

OoC-Sorry for my inactivity, I've been having problems logging on to the forums for the past couple days. I can log on to CBR, but the forums keep posting an error message. Anyone else having problems?

BiC-I had been looking over the notes the Punisher had given me. It was really incredible stuff. Just amazing, while the equations were a little different from mine he had the basic premise. However his notes seemed to fold time, rather than space. I decided to write out some more of my theories about how to link my timer and the homing device that I had designed to find the others.

"Hey Pun... is there something else I can call you? I feel kind of weird yelling Hey Punisher. Anyway could you take a look at this. It's some of the theories behind my sliding. You seem to know alot about time travel. You had notes that I didn't even think of. I couldn't figure how to get around the paradox mechanics, but you're notes seem to bypass it entirely. I'd like to talk to you about this sometime."

I also realized that I had to make a vote, totally unsure I cast one

"To our kidnapper, I vote for Emma Frost. The vote seems to be split between her and Deadpool, and well while Deadpool is a merc, and kind of a spaz, I don't know if he's smart enough to pull off some of these murders."

Joe Acro 02-26-2007 11:22 AM

Courage noticed that the Reptoid hadn't taken the bait. So, he simply threw the dead rats over his shoulder to dispose of them. One of the other players had declared him to be a lizard anyway. Courage no longer needed to deal with that.

But he did need to vote. The Reptoid was still suspicious, so Courage transformed into a roaring two-legged lizard, and then back into himself.

With his job done, the dog decided to find the bathroom.

OOC: Another vote for Martin.

Traitor Game Announcer: Welcome back Traitor Game fans! As you know, tonight will be the next banishment! As we look at the voting board, Emma Frost and Deadpool are tied with 3 votes. But, shifty Dick Dastardly is not too far behind. Speaking of Dastardly, it looks like he is up to one of his schemes again.

You are correct, Mr. Announcer. This giant redwood tree has given me the perfect idea in catching that traitor, Deadpool. If I cut this tree at the correct angle, it should come crashing down right at that dummy, immobilizing him enough for me to expose him! Mwahahaha!

I think that I may never see, a trap that's as good as a tree! Hahaha! I should be a poet.

(Successfully cuts down the tree. It begins to tip over.)

Timber!

(Unfortunately, the tree falls down the other way, towards the Mean Machine.)

Oh no! The Mean Machine!

CRASH!

Drat! Curses! And Phooey!

(Muttley begins snickering. Dastardly then tries to bop Muttley on the head, but at the last second, Muttley puts a frying pan over his head to protect himself.)

Yowch! My hand! My beautiful hand!

Muttley: (Snickers some more.)

He... what? He's trying to kill us all!

"And... what would make you say that?"

RUMINATIONS: I loved how the Purple Skull had the Announcer give some handy recap. I thought it was a nice way of keeping track of what was going on.

As for Matches Malone, his player pretty much dropped out of the game, with only that one enigmatic post (which he said wasn't intended to be serious). So in the end, as the host of this scenario, I had to write him out with an appropriate explanation. More on that later.
