OOC: Dear god, lauren, (still going for a Dr. Cox thing, but not actually being him. Just doing an impression), I was about to get knocked off. Schornforce, I know this sounds weird, but I love you. Lol, you saved my character's @$$ by sending in your kill. Damn you spideykid, why'd ya have to go and attempt to murder me? Luckily, I was saved, and am now back at my home in God Knows Where, California (most people believe Scrubs takes place in Cali.). Wow, we should do a "What if?!..." Scenario, if I'd been killed instead of Luffy. That would be sick. Well, good night.

OOC: I don't think I'd have Chuck Austen and Rob Liefeld do the graphic novel adaptation. Then again, I suppose it should be easier for them then having to write their own story...

Well, let's see....

There's

Cologne Chinese Amazon elder and advisor figure

Action phrases.

1. Don't be quick to jump to conclusions.

2. Bakusai Tenketsu!

Darth Jubba the Sith Hutt Evil Sith Lord, gangster, murderer, and jaywalker (among other things)

1. Ho ho ho ho!

2. They have guessed....WRONG!

I'll probably come up with more later. First, I have to assemble that 'The Many Deaths of Batman Clip Show'.

The Purple Skull 03-08-2007 02:05 AM

And of course we cannot forget the Traitor Game's resident accuser (and his assistant/nephew)

The Rogue Watcher - Comes with a Lightning Bolt and a mini-stereo that plays the theme to Beverly Hills Cop

1. Plead your innocence!

OOC: Were you wondering what was on that DVD that Batman was so worried about? Well, the following clips will give you some idea of what was on that DVD titled 'Traitor Game: The Many Deaths of Batman'. Assembled in one place for the first time, here are all Batman's deaths...

--- Traitor Game I

The group, still shocked after making the wrong accusation, decide to reconvene in another location to eat. Around the table, fingers are pointed at one another. Accusations are being made left and right. Just then, Spider-Woman quiets everyone down. She tells them that they must think of a more coherent plan to scope out the traitor. Batman interrupts.

Batman: "You're all doing this wrong!" "Now I've put some clues tog---"

Just then, the Dark Knight, begins to shake. "Something's wrong with the wine!" In a matter of seconds, flesh eating bacteria begins to develop rapidly inside Batman's body, eating him inside out. For years, Batman's rogues have tried to eliminate him and failed. But for this night, the traitor has finally succeeded. The Dark Knight has been poisoned.

--- Traitor Game II

But the news of a Squad member being banished could not be enjoyed too long. As Spider-Man & Monica Rambeau walk down the aisle, a head appears beside them. It's the head of Batman! For the second game in a row, the Dark Knight has been killed. This time, mysteriously decapitated!

--- Traitor Game III

It couldn't have been more than a few hours after everyone splintered off, too suspicious to remain in the same room with anyone, when Faith went into the upstairs bathroom and found the next victim.

On the floor was a dead Batman. At first glance, it was hard to determine the cause of death. There were no physical marks--no bruises, no blood, no wounds, etc. He was just dead.

But The Doctor knew the reason soon after examining him. The Dark Knight had been poisoned. No one could determine why he was in the bathroom. Maybe the poison was about to work its way out of the system and Batman had been so close to ridding himself of it. Whatever the reason, however it happened, Batman was dead in the bathroom due to some kind of poisoning. And in the indignity of it all, he hadn't even died in the right body.

Thus, for the third time, Batman had been killed in The Traitor Game.

---

Batman didn't appear in the two Traitor Games after that. Guess no one wanted to play Batman since he always died. But when Traitor Game VI started, I suggested that an NPC be murdered first so that all the players would be given the opportunity to vote at least once in the game. The Purple Skull liked that suggestion, and since Batman had been killed several times before, we thought it'd be fun to have him be the NPC first victim. Here's how it happened.

--- Traitor Game VI: Back to Basics

Dr. Doom reappears to the group.

Meet me at the Hall Of Doom.

Upon arrival, the group is left confused.

Dr. Strange: What is the meaning of this meeting, Doom?

Prez: Yeah. Spill it. You asked us all to come here to look at your new curtains?

Why don’t you give those “curtains” a closer look?

Chris Jericho: My god! Whoever chose blood red as a curtain color should be shot!

Those are not curtains you idiot!

Wolverine: ::Sniff Sniff:: He’s right. It’s Batman…

Power Girl: What?! No way! Never in a million years! He’s the world’s greatest detective!

Oh but it is true! The Doom Squad has struck, and their first victim was the Dark Knight himself! He was in his living quarters, when my team ambushed him. He was beaten to death, skinned and had his organs hung for all of you to see.

Captain America: I think I'm going to be sick.

---

And of course, Batman showed up in this game as well. Unfortunately, being disguised as Matches Malone didn't save him, as we see below. The whole note can be found here. As with the other notes, I just quote the portions directly dealing with Batman's death. We pick up where Cologne finds Batman's body in the desert after the sandstorm.

--- Traitor Game VII: A Galaxy Far, Far, Away

Cologne approached the thing sticking out from the sand. On closer inspection, it was a skull. A skull that was still attached to a body.

Whoever this was had been buried up to his neck and left to die in the sandstorm. Cologne knelt down, and dug a little in the sand. The sand quickly fell back in, but not before Cologne recognized the costume the body was wearing.

"Batman." she said aloud. The sandstorm had stripped the skin from the man's head, but Cologne knew that the victim had been Batman. He had also been Matches Malone.

There was nothing more she could do for him. She headed back to Darth Jubba's palace, still carrying the remnants of Batman's mask.

Cologne soon entered the library, where many of the others had gathered. "Matches Malone is dead. It appears he was actually Batman undercover, investigating the distribution of DVDs depicting his being killed in previous Traitor Games. Alas, all his investigation got him was a new scene for future editions of that DVD."

"Correct you are!" said Darth Jubba's voice from the PA system. "Some time before the sandstorm, he ditched his Matches disguise, and decided to investigate as Batman, when he ran into my Imperial Stormtroopers. He fought with them both outside the palace, but one of them picked up a heavy bronze ball, and threw it at him. He was knocked unconscious, and dragged to the pit the two Stormtroopers had been digging. They buried him up to his neck in sand, and then returned to the palace just before the sandstorm hit."

"Batman, meanwhile, regained consciousness for only a few seconds before the sandstorm battered him into unconsciousness, and then death. The storm even stripped all the skin off of his head. I think he looks much better that way. Anyway, Batman has once again been killed in a Traitor Game. Ho ho ho ho!"

---

So, will Batman show up in future Traitor Games? What sort of crazy deaths might be seen on future editions of that DVD? Only time will tell! :)

OOC: Well, now that the 'Traitor Game: The Many Deaths of Batman' bit is taken care of, there still remains Cologne and Ukyo's return home to post, plus the mini-epilogues for certain NPCs I didn't get to in the first mini-epilogue post.

I had a great time hosting this event. I'm glad that a lot of people seemed to like Cologne's role as advisor figure and 'benevolent co-host'. I thought it made sense for a different character to hire the Agents and the Vigilante, and I thought it might be a good idea for that character as well as the villain behind the Traitors to be a constant presence in the game. I was a bit worried, though, which is why I'm glad people seemed to like that dynamic.

This game turned out to be the most pic-filled Traitor Game yet. The pics really added to the experience in several cases. Schornforce, Purple Skull, and I especially had a lot of fun with pics, though others (such as tangentman, Weirdopky, Superheroic, Indigo Al, and moonknight2099) also had some clever uses of pics.

There was a LOT of great roleplaying in this game. As far as roleplaying goes, this was probably one of the best Traitor Games yet. Lots of wonderful characterizations, and great interaction between characters. One of my favorite aspects of the Traitor Games is the 'put characters from different universes together and see how they interact' aspect. This game had lots of good character interaction.

Purple Skull - Thanks for encouraging me to host, and thanks for your advice and comments. And once again, great job with Dick Dastardly and Muttley!

tangentman - What more can we say? Thanks for the wonderful characterization of Emma Frost, and thanks for contributing that 'Emma vs. Darth Jubba in the Astral Plane' scene to the climax.

Schornforce - I have to agree with tangentman and others here. Wonderful portrayal of Willow. And very clever use of pics. Thanks once again for providing those pics of Darth Jubba.

Superheroic - Great job with Evinlea. Even though I've never read the Negation series, it makes me sorry that Tony Bedard never got to finish the Negation War storyline.

Jeff-E - Very clever twist with the 'evil Mirror Universe Quinn'. You did a good job as one of my Traitors.

Weirdopky: Great job with Dr. Cox even if he was a jerk. He only just barely made it to the end of the game. :)

Eternal Torment: Loved the furthering of the 'Organization' subplot, and was glad to help that 'setup' in the previous game's epilogue pay off here. Looking forward to seeing who the fifth character in that Organization is.

darkkeeperjr: Very eccentric characterization of the alternate universe Darth Vader. Loved how Vader handled things on Dagobah. The building of the house was a nice touch.

Crimson King: Lots of over-the-top fourth wall breaking with Deadpool. Loved that hidden message when Deadpool claimed to be one of the 'helpers who's here to help you'. die

Indigo Al, Joe Acro, moonknight2099 - Very clever character choices, which added a lot to the game.

Guy1 and Spidey-kid1: It was great having you two around for the entire game. Great work on both Tendou and Luffy. It was good having a second chance to get to know them.

GoGo Yubari, bigboi2, and Froggy: All three of you are new to the Traitor Games, but you did great. Wonderful character bits from all of you. I hope to see you in the next game.

Also special thanks to previous Traitor Game player BYC for inspiring the 'Burger King' bit.

Well, I've still got Cologne and Ukyo's return home to post. I'll probably post that a bit later today.
Brrrrrrr..... does that mean Martin will get man-boobs? He's not even a mammal!!!!
OOC: Well, I'm not sure why Purple Skull picked them to handle the graphic novel. Of course, speaking modestly, I know I can write circles around both of them. ;)

As for artist pick, I'd pick an artist with a sense of proportion. Oh, I'm not sure who just yet. Maybe Pat Oliffe or Ron Frenz of Spider-Girl fame.

By the way, you forgot to tell everyone what "Pre-te-nama" means, just in case they're not familiar with V. It means 'peace'.
"Pre-te-nama OUT!" he shouted to the dog, flashing a "V" sign with his fingers.
Hmm...is Martin somehow channelling Prez there? :)
OOC: Loved that letter. Both laugh-out loud funny and sweet at the same time.
Thanks! Meowth's always fun for me to write. :)

Weirdopky 03-08-2007 09:41 AM

If you want a good artist, I'd say go with the man himself, artist for the amazingly sick (awesome and disgusting at the same time), David Finch. He's got some good drawings, great details, and good proportions. I'd just love to see his Dr. Cox. Ha ha ha! That'd be nutz.

Schornforce 03-08-2007 10:04 AM
OOC: Dear god, lauren, (still going for a Dr. Cox thing, but not actually being him. Just doing an impression), I was about to get knocked off. No problem, I'm just glad I was allowed to send in my choice late. :)

I think if Dr. Cox HAD been killed, Luffy would've been voted out in the next round or two.

As for Willow's action figure? She's had several already, but this one would be color change to her Dark form.

A special variant figure would be 'cheesy big smile' Willow with 'fainting action'.

ACTION PHRASES: okay, I did flay a guy and try and blow up the world, but it was just that one time and hello! Better now!

Cologne, Ukyo, and Shampoo return home Cologne finished writing a letter to Willow. In the letter, she told of her meeting with the white-robed being. After she had finished with her account, she closed with the following:
I still don't know who or what these beings are, but it's clear they know more about the Traitor Games than most of the people who host them. At least the mystery behind those images on the television set is solved. Since you were curious about it, too, I thought you'd like to know what I have learned.

Ukyo and I will be taking the CD back with us. However, before I met with the being and gave the dimensional device back, I used it and some of the money in Darth Jubba's vaults to purchase some more Doomtations CDs. One of them should be enclosed with this letter.

Once again, thank you for your help. Once again, you have helped to defeat what you might refer to as a 'Big Bad'. I do hope you speak with your friends about the Traitor Games. One of them may be forced to participate in the near future. Anyway, I wish you well in your future endeavors.

The Elder Cologne of the Joketsuzoku
Cologne then dropped that letter with the enclosed CD into the Interdimensional Mailbox. She also mailed a letter to the Announcer once again thanking him for his help in keeping track of the action. Of course, any replies to any of the letters Cologne and Ukyo had mailed would be found in the Mailbox in Cologne's study at the Nekohanten.

Ukyo turned to Cologne. "I'm ready to go now. And Shampoo's been ready for quite a while. Just about everyone's leaving, so I guess there's no point in staying here. Besides, I bet Ranchan's wondering how I got here." she said with a smile.

"Would you like to say hello to him before we go to meet him in person?" Cologne then gestured to a monitor which was now showing Nerima Park. She turned up the volume on the monitor.

Ukyo smiled. She then spoke into the monitor. "Ranma honey, we're done here and we're coming home!"

Ranma, on the monitor, answered "You were great, Ucchan!"

Ukyo blushed. "Thanks. I didn't really do much. I only showed up just in time for the final battle. And I had help from Mantis, Shampoo, and the King. And just about everyone else."

Akane spoke. "How'd you get there?"

"It's a long story," Ukyo replied. "I'll tell you about it when I get home."

Cologne then spoke to Ranma, Akane, and the others in the monitor. "We will be there in just a few minutes. Be prepared to meet us."

Shampoo chimed in. "Shampoo is ready to go, great-grandmother."

Cologne took one last look at the office, making sure there was nothing she had left undone. She looked at the monitors. She was interested in seeing what had happened at Castle Doom. Nearly every vase in the place was now broken. At one portion of the castle, a pair of Doombots were pretending to be something called a 'Mecha-Shiva' in front of a large metal figure who insisted that they ignore it. Elsewhere, another version of Darth Vader appeared to be conversing with what appeared to be 'Darthbots' or 'Vaderbots', for the lack of better terms.

Cologne then took a look at the troubled world Captain America and the Hulk had come from. She was disturbed by what she saw. She hoped that what she had seen was not what it appeared to be. If it was, then it was a tragedy. That world needed people like Captain America more than ever.

She decided that she would not tell Ukyo about this just yet. The bad news could wait until some time after they had returned home. She turned, and followed Ukyo and Shampoo to the portal.

--- At Nerima Park

Cologne, Ukyo, and Shampoo appeared in a flash of light on the ampitheatre stage. They stood in front of the giant television screen that had been showing the crowd the events of the just-concluded Traitor Game. The crowd cheered at their appearance.

Ranma, Akane, and Mousse rushed to the stage. Mousse yelled "Shampoo!" and rushed to give her a hug. Unfortunately, Mousse had misplaced his glasses, and without them mistook Cologne for Shampoo. Cologne gently shoved him aside, and turned to the crowd.

"The game is ended." the Chinese Amazon elder announced. "However, if you wish to see any of what you have just seen again, I have just taken a few newly-created DVDs from Darth Jubba's palace. They show the whole thing from beginning to end. I can make additional copies if enough people request them."

Ranma and Akane greeted Ukyo and Shampoo. "You two were great taking out that Rancor." Ranma said.

"We had help." Ukyo said. "It's a good thing that Burger King was with us."

"I'm still surprised the three of you were able to put aside your differences like that." Akane added.

Cologne chimed in. "You shouldn't be surprised, really. When the fate of the world is at stake, petty rivalries can and should be put aside, at least for the moment."

Nabiki walked up to them. "I'm making a LOT of money! I won my bets! I was right about Quinn, and right about Luffy! Now I need to get everyone to pay up." She smiled, and headed off into the crowd to collect from those who had placed their bets on other suspects.

Ukyo just sighed, and smiled. "Well, I guess things will be getting back to normal here soon. Of course, we're probably going to have to find some way of moving that giant TV out of here."

"I'm sure we can manage." Cologne replied with a smile.

Akane then spoke to Cologne. "I heard you say there are going to be more Traitor Games. Do you think we'll be involved in the next one?"

"Difficult to say, really." Cologne said. "From what I hear, people are already being chosen for the next game. I am not sure any of us will be involved this time. If that is the case, then I'd say it's for the best. Our world could use a rest from these things for a little while."

"Fine with me." Ukyo said. Of course, Ukyo was still looking forward to visiting the study at the Nekohanten and seeing if any letters had arrived in the Interdimensional Mailbox. But all in all, she too believed their world had more or less earned a respite from the Traitor Game craziness. Just the normal craziness of Nerima would be enough for a while.

OOC: And so Cologne returns home, along with Ukyo and Shampoo. I have one more epilogue bit with them in mind, and one more epilogue telling what the Max Rebo Band and some of the others did afterwards, and then it'll be time to post those 'curtain call' pics.

Yo Eternal Torment! I just want to say that I am really enjoying the continuing "Organization" storyline you have in these games. I like the idea that there is a cabal trying to end the Traitor Games.

It got me thinking of an idea I might use the next time I host. If there's a group trying to end the Traitor Games, then there should be another group that tries to sustain it! I won't say anymore because it'll probably be a while before it happens. But I think I have my storyline set when we do the next round of Traitor Game scenarios. :D

OOC: I was wondering what you thought of my 'sort of' resolution to the ongoing 'Cologne wants to know why the Traitor Games are happening' subplot that's been going on since Traitor Game V. That whole thing with the mysterious being was pretty much the best way I could handle it, without resorting to breaking the fourth wall.

Since you're the one who got this whole Traitor Game thing started, I really wanted to know what you thought of that 'possible explanation' given in that scene.

I really enjoyed that scene you posted with Cologne and the mysterious being. It builds on the sub-plots that's been going on by you and Eternal Torment, and it also adds fuel to the storyline I'm thinking of. I was wondering, without revealing anything, do you have an identity in mind for the mysterious figure?

That's why I enjoy having storylines in the Traitor Games. It works for both new and old players. If you're new to the game, it's easily accessible because the game's storyline is for the most part, self-contained. And its great for the veterans because they can build their own subplots by using elements from previous games (as Eternal Torment has done).

OOC: Well, that mysterious figure is apparently part of a group of mysterious beings that may very well be the ones who secretly choose the hosts for the games. It's possible they might be behind the crazy Santa Claus's interdimensional powers, and it's possible they, and not Santa, were the ones who really gave Dr. Doom the 'Continuum Transfunctioner' (no, I'm not even going to try to say that thing's whole name here :) ).

They may very well be in league with, or be a part of, that group who wishes the Traitor Games to continue, since the Traitor Games can be seen as a sort of test for all the people involved.

And that's basically just about all I know about them at this point. :)

Coming in a little bit. One more epilogue bit with Cologne and Ukyo, then some short mini-epilogues with the NPCs, then the curtain call pics. After that, it'll be the closing credits and then I'll be preparing for the next game and the new character I'll be playing there.

Epilogue: Courage

Courage was placed on the front step of the farmhouse. Only a few moments had passed since his departure. Muriel came around the house, calling his name.

"Couraaage! Coooouuraaaage! Oh! There you are. Ya had me concerned, dear."

Courage lept into the air and hugged his owner.

"My! Aren't you peppy today! Come along, now, Courage. I need you to taste some jam ah'm fixin."

The screen fill with blackness. It eventually fills to where there is only a small hole around Courage's head. He winks at the camera as he's being carried inside the house. The blackness then closes up and the "The End" screen appears.

OOC: There. I'm satisfied. Now, off to make a new thread! Feel free to continue with epilogue stuff in this one, though.

Epilogue: Ukyo

Shortly after returning home, Ukyo cooked up some okonomiyaki dinner for those at Nerima Park. Some stayed behind to eat, but most of the crowd returned to their homes. The show was clearly over at this point.

After Ukyo packed up her portable okonomiyaki grill, she decided to stop over at the Nekohanten before returning to Ucchan's. She needed to see if any letters had arrived through the Interdimensional Mailbox.

Sure enough, a letter from Meowth was waiting for her. Eagerly she read it.

She read Meowth's reaction to hearing about the latest Traitor Game. In all honestly, she wasn't sure just how the Traitor Games could be 'regulated', especially when cosmic beings often used them for their own purposes. She smiled at Meowth's compliments toward Cologne.

She read Meowth's account of how Team Rocket had reacted to her offer. She didn't really have a use for traps such as those described in 'Dick Dastardly's Book of Traps', so she supposed she could either just keep it as a souvenir, or mail it to Dastardly through the Interdimensional Mailbox.

Ukyo smiled at Meowth's descriptions of his teammates' behavior. And that Wobbuffet...even when translated, it seemed he didn't always make sense.

She pondered Meowth's words of encouragement. She still wasn't sure if she could actually win the 'competition' for Ranma's affections, but she at least had to keep trying. She had told Meowth she would keep trying, and that was precisely what she was going to do.

She walked back to Ucchan's. She was glad that she had been able to help Cologne and the others, even if she only played a small part this time. She would have liked to have had the opportunity to chat with some of the players in that game a bit more, but she understood that they needed to return home.

She unlocked the door to Ucchan's, and stepped inside. It was getting late, so she decided that Ucchan's would be closed for the night. Of course, she knew she would get some good breakfast business. The crowd at Nerima Park consisted not just of her regular customers, but also some people who hadn't been to Ucchan's before. She had cooked for the crowd during the live broadcast of the Traitor Game, and handed out business cards. She was sure they had liked the free samples, and she was sure they would come to Ucchan's for more.

She went up the stairs and to her apartment. There, she unpacked the souvenirs she had taken from Darth Jubba's palace. She also placed the letter from Meowth, and the snapshot of Meowth and his Team Rocket teammates, on the desk next to the 'Traitah Tradin' Cards'.

Ukyo had just been part of another incredible adventure, though she had only been a spectator until the final battle. The outcome of this latest adventure had given her new hope of hearing from her friends in other dimensions someday.

In the meantime, she had plenty of things to deal with in her own dimension. Such as tomorrow morning's breakfast crowd. She quickly prepared to go to bed. She wanted to be up bright and early to open the place for breakfast.

--- Epilogue: Cologne

Cologne sat in her study at the back of the Nekohanten, pondering the Traitor Game. Overall, she was pleased with her performance as the co-host of the game. Though both of her Rebel Alliance members were eliminated, they had still been of great help to her and the other players. And her Bounty Hunter, Willow, had been the key to victory over Darth Jubba's Imperial Stormtroopers.

She pondered what she had found out about the Traitor Games. She knew that another one was going to begin soon. In fact, before she left, she had found a sheet of paper, possibly left behind by the mysterious being. On it was a list of people's names, under the heading 'Traitor Game VIII'. Apparently, players were already being chosen.

Cologne would probably not be a part of the next game. At least not in any major capacity. And this was a good thing. She could not neglect the responsibilties she had in her own world. Shampoo needed her. The Joketsuzoku needed her. There were a lot of people who needed her for guidance.

However, this did not mean that she could not in some way provide some guidance to at least one of the next Traitor Game's participants. She looked at the list of players, and chose one. After a few hours of further work, she placed a handwritten letter and a note book into the Interdimensional Mailbox.

The player she had chosen to contact had never been in a Traitor Game before, as far as Cologne knew. But now, this player would have some information that just might give her an advantage.

Cologne wondered how the player she had chosen to help, and the others, would do in the next Traitor Game...

OOC: And that's pretty much it. I'll have the 'mini-epilogues' for some of the people left behind at Darth Jubba's palace soon.

Not ever. The Illuminati will be pwned by the awesome might of my characters!

Skull - I'll say it again. The Traitor Games are yours. When you want to run a game, you just have to say so. I'm sure no one will mind you taking the reigns whenever you want.

Also, it'll give me time to think about my scenario's storyline. Plus, I'm having too much fun playing the game itself. :D

Second NPC mini-epilogues

After Cologne and her companions returned to their own world, Littlebit Fortuna packed his belongings and prepared to leave. Before he left for Mos Eisley, he looked in the former office of Darth Jubba, which Cologne had been using before she left. All the monitors had been deactivated, and try as he might, Littlebit Fortuna could not turn them on again. Concluding that Cologne had arranged for them to become non-functional the instant she left, Littlebit just sighed, and then left for his new job at a certain new fast food franchise.

The Max Rebo Band took a vote, and decided that they weren't going to play any gigs for the Hutts anymore. Sy Snootles and Max Rebo, especially, were sick and tired of having their songs interrupted by someone shouting at them or their boss feeding somebody to a monster. So Sy Snootles, Max Rebo, Droopy McCool, and the others started playing at cantinas and other bars and clubs across the galaxy. They dropped 'The Night the Lights Went Out at Jubba's' from their repertoire for a while, as they had never been satisfied with the lyrics. They started work on a new version reflecting Darth Jubba's defeat.

Back in Cologne and Ukyo's homeworld, Shampoo actually won some money from the betting, since she had bet on Luffy as one of the Traitors, and been proven right.

The Jusenkyo Guide had seen many people fall into the cursed springs, but only three had fallen in because of dimensional portals. The first was an Ewok that had fallen into a previously uncursed spring in 1983 and drowned there, thus creating the Spring of Drowned Ewok. The second and third were the villains that had been sent to the Spring of Drowned Slug and the Spring of Drowned Cockroach over the course of the past week. The recent developments confused him, until Cologne sent a letter to him explaining everything that had happened.

Back on Tatooine, a bunch of strange bunnies now roamed the desert near Darth Jubba's now deserted palace. Some of them looked like ordinary Earth bunnies, but some of them looked very strange indeed. Some were shaggy with horns, others were wrapped in bandages with little goggles, and others appeared to be robot bunnies. Left over from Willow's spell cast during the battle against the Sandpeople, Banthas, and Battledroids, they were a strange sight for the palace staff to behold as they left to find better jobs elsewhere.

The Burger King soon found the right location for Tatooine's first Burger King franchise. Just at the opposite side of Mos Eisley from the infamous cantina, there now stood a new fast food restaurant.

And so peace returned to that version of the Star Wars galaxy.

OOC: Coming soon...the 'curtain call' pics. :)

Chris Lang 03-08-2007 09:49 PM

OOC: Well, I guess the epilogues are just about over, though we'll probably still be talking about this game here until the next game officially begins. But I miss the characters from this game already. :(

Well, a lot of people have changed their avatars already, so here are the 'curtain call' pics. First off are the characters who made it through the whole game without being eliminated and outlasted the final Traitor:

Now let's take a look at the bad guys. Here's Darth Jubba and the three Traitors, with the Rancor thrown in for good measure.

And now here are some characters who were eliminated, but still played important and memorable roles anyway:

More in the next message.

Chris Lang 03-08-2007 09:58 PM

More curtain call pics. Here are some other PCs (and yes, Wesley is counted as a player character because he was the special 'first kill NPC')

Moving on to characters who weren't actual player characters, but had parts to play in the game anyway. Here are a bunch of non-player characters who appeared in the game's subplots, and then joined the player characters to help defeat Darth Jubba. I also put the Jusenkyo Guide in there.

And of course, we have Cologne, Muttley, the Rogue Watcher, the Announcer, and other characters who weren't players, but were part of the story nonetheless.

Did I leave anyone out? If I did, let me know.

OOC: Well, maybe one day we'll find out, if you or anyone else ever picks them as characters to play in a Traitor game.

By the way, I hope you liked the Goku pic I used for the 'curtain call' bit. I'm not familiar with Dragonball, so I wasn't sure if the pic I used was Teen Goku or Goku at a different stage.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with Static in the next game. Glad to have you aboard!

Yea static will be fun to do, especially ift here's any pokemon in there, and his "secret" love of pokemon cards.

it was either static or krillin. Krillin for a later traitor game though..............I need to find a pic of him in that blue suit though!

OOC: Well, it looks like the epilogues are done, and the story has pretty much been wrapped up. To find out what's going on with Immortus and all, we'll have to see the next game. But before that, of course, we must have the closing credits.

Now, take out your Star Wars soundtracks and cue the closing credits theme of just about any of the Star Wars movies. :)

Boba Fett entered Darth Jubba's palace. "Hmm, I wonder if this Darth Jubba's interested in hiring me." he said to himself.

He noted that the palace was seemingly deserted. In the office, he read the notes left behind by Cologne explaining what had happened. Boba Fett just sighed. "Guess I got here a little late. Hmm, what are these DVDs?"

He took a look at the packages of DVDs, which were labelled to be mailed to Gotham City. They were titled 'Traitor Game: The Many Deaths of Batman, Edition Two.' He then noticed the Interdimensional Mailbox on the desk.

"Might as well mail these DVDs as long as I'm here." Boba Fett said. And he did.

OOC: Well, this Traitor Game has been fun. But I'm looking forward to the next one. There's already a Traitor Game VIII Sign-Up Thread, so if you haven't signed up for the next one, you really should go there. Signups will continue until at least this coming Monday.

EDIT: Signups have ended, and by the time you read this, the next Traitor Game will have begun. The link is in a message below this one.

I don't see Muriel, Eustace, or the computer in there.;) Great job, though. I really liked the notion of two controlling characters. I won't be using it (because it doesn't suit the story I've got in my head), but it worked. I appreciated the cleverness in this game, from using Wesley to making a sandstorm to tying in other Traitor Games and so on. It really was a pretty good game and run well enough that I didn't notice any glitches. I only hope my next one will be as good or, perhaps better.:D

Sorry about leaving them out, but Muriel and Eustace were only in the prologue and epilogue and weren't even mentioned between then. As for the computer...sorry.

The idea of two controlling characters was inspired by tangentman's and Indigo Al's scenarios, actually. And I decided to use Cologne because I wanted to use her again, and because having her oppose a cousin of a Star Wars character would help enhance the 'crossover' feel.

A lot of people liked Cologne's role in the game. Schornforce especially felt that having a 'good' host as advisor and confidant to the players helped with player participation. I thought it made sense, anyway. It worked out better than I thought it would.

The sandstorm was Jeff-E's idea. It was my idea to have the sandstorm happen and be mentioned as going on out there long before the fate of Matches Malone/Batman is discovered. As for Wesley, I just couldn't resist the urge to do some Star Trek jokes. Of the possibilities I considered for that role, he seemed like he would be the funniest.

I'm glad you enjoyed the game. I had lots of fun playing Cologne again (and I couldn't resist playing Ukyo again in the 'spectator' scenario). And I tried to make Darth Jubba an entertaining antagonist, but one everyone was looking forward to seeing get his. I was glad to work in a lot of players' suggestions into the climax. It made for a very interesting writeup. (I think everyone KNEW the game was ending when it took me an hour to finish the writeup. If the Bounty Hunter had failed, it would have only taken just one note's worth of text).

Looking forward to seeing what sort of Traitor Game Host Immortus will be. Will he be a villain (like Darth Jubba, Dr. Doom, and the Crazy Santa), or will he be a more morally ambiguous character? In the comics, he isn't always an antagonist. Anyway, I guess we'll find out when the thread starts.

Thanks for the kind words! I'm looking forward to the next game!

Show's over! Nothing more to see here, folks! :) The signups mentioned above are over, so by the time you read this, Traitor Game VIII will have already started.

Find out what the whole deal with Immortus is at Traitor Game VIII: How Low Can You Limbo? See you there!

RUMINATIONS: And so concludes this Traitor Game Essentials re-presentation of Traitor Game VII: A Galaxy Far, Far Away. Not really much to add to what I say above in the OOC posts.

Of course, this was still pre-Discussion Thread so there was a lot of OOC discussion about future Traitor Games. I've included here an interesting OOC discussion about something we never got to see: A rivalry between Eternal Torment's Organization and another group that wants to keep the Traitor Games going. It was an interesting idea, but it never materialized.

Anyway, this wraps up the Cologne/Doom/Darth Jubba trilogy. But I still decided to have Cologne be the source of a certain book that my character in the next game would be using. But maybe I'll get to that another time.
