And now Part 26 of the Traitor Game Essentials re-presentation of Traitor Game V: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Traitor. We get down to the Final Three in this installment, and more twists ensue.

"Fin Fang Foom also believes the Hulk, or Banner, is behind this.

"Begone, now. I'm the only jade giant around here."

Anthony Johanson 12-29-2006 02:37 PM
The Hulk turned from Ronan to stare at The Bard. "There it is. That's the mistake I was waiting for. You're just changing your vote to protect yourself. An innocent man wouldn't do that you lousy traitor."

He turned back to Ronan. "Remember this Accuser. Unless the others vote my way, I will be gone. And you will have accused yet another innocent, sided with the Renegade. This terran monkey will have played you Kree, again."

The Hulk began to walk away, "So much for Kree superiority."
The Bard just smiled, and replied:

"Ah the Hulk, always jumping to conclusions. Funny how you acquit me when I say I couldn't do it and give evidence, but to cover your hiney you are putting the blame on me again. Ronan, don't waver, he is just trying to break your resolve.

Jade Jaws is indeed a traitor, and don't let his spiel confuse you, he is just trying to backtrack. Either way, if he is not the traitor, it is Archie Andrews.

Sounds like an all-win situation to me. By the way, Ronan, the Kree are superior."

"Wow. You people are really pathetic. No wonder you're always getting your asses kicked by the Richard's and Stark's of the world. I'm not the Traitor here. How about being on the winning side for once?"
The Bard just smiled, and replied:

"Keep smiling Traitor. Either way you're finished. You have it all planned. Get me banished, then take Ronan or FFF out, all the while planting seeds that Archie is the Traitor. Ronan or Fang Foom Foom will wise up and switch their vote. Meanwhile, Archie will vote with me since you are gunning for him anyway. Keep digging your own grave."

Indigo Al 12-29-2006 08:57 PM

"I can only say, I STILL think the Bard did it!" said Archie.

Chris Lang 12-29-2006 09:40 PM

"Time is running out." Cologne said, to the rest of the eliminated players in the room.

With her was Wonder Girl, Dr. Doom, Green Lantern, Conan, Onslaught, the Joker, and the King. The Super-Skrull had been allowed to return to the workshop basement as long as he did not interfere, though he had disappeared shortly thereafter. Cologne did not know where he was. Nor was she sure where the Flash was.

"This next vote may be the ultimate deciding one. Whether it is or not, we must take advantage of the distraction." Cologne told the group. "Dr. Doom, Onslaught, do you have your power? King, I hope you can supply enough burgers. For they are an important part of the plan."

She knew as she said this that the King was probably still capable of producing an infinite amount of fast food meals out of nowhere.

"Like most of you, I am tired of waiting around for us to be freed, or put through further indignities, or suffer a fate not worth contemplating. It is time for us to have a say in our fates. If any of us just meekly accept what our host is doing, we are as good as dead already."

"Please, all of you. Join me in this."

Cologne began to apply the 'Breaking Point' technique to one of the walls of the room, hoping the rest would back her up with their abilities. Perhaps, maybe, the wall would eventually give, and they would go...where? Hopefully some place that was better than where they were.

Of course they would have to get past their host...and the Cloaked Figure. Cologne wished that there was no Cloaked Figure. This being whose identity they didn't know was a dangerous wild card. They did not need someone so dangerous and unpredictable involved in this. If only there was some way of making it so he would not be a threat to them...

Cologne did not know what they were going to have to do...or who they would have to kill...in order to survive this. But she truly did not know if her plan was going to work, or if indeed there would be any way to save herself or her fellow captives. But she could not allow herself to give up. She would at least try to lead these people out of here, and perhaps to their homes...

OOC: The game's almost over. :( I miss Cologne already, and the Purple Skull's Dr. Doom, tangentman's Wonder Girl, and the Hulk, and everyone. I'm hoping we'll all get to contribute in some way to the finale and the epilogue, because I don't want to leave without saying goodbye. It's been fun.

voting round

Anthony Johanson/The Bard-2 (Superheroic, Indigo Al) Superheroic/The Hulk-3 (Jeff-E, Anthony Johanson, mattbib)

So the votes are in.

Ah, I see you've voted for the Hulk. Ok, he's gone, and once again, you're wrong. He was, however, the new breaker. Since the next round is the final round, I will be the breaker for it if it comes to that, which it most likely won't.

Then, they hear a slashing sound nearby. They all walk to the hall near the dorms, and see Fin Fang Foom.

Hot damn, he's been choked to death by his own tail, which was severed from his body. How gruesome, yet clever. And oh, what's this. My traitor wrote "Merry Christmas" on the wall with FFF's blood. How nice. Anyway, there ya have it. Final round time. We only have Ronan, Archie, and the Bard left. Since it's the final round, I'll bring back every one of the damn characters to the real world, alive and well. But all they can do is walk around and talk to the still "alive" players. They may not vote, or attack anyone. Have a good night, people.

Indigo Al 12-29-2006 10:23 PM

OoC: Weirdo, when is the deadline for the final round?

Chou Blaster 12-29-2006 10:24 PM

And cue Kyle now amongst the work sohp again.:

"By God I ahte these stupid game, and the lard ass in the red suit."

And saw the hulk was on his side.:

"Well Jade Jaws wasn't it either?

Odd, hmmm. I guess the last thing to do is to see ho wthis unfolds.

Thoug hlooks to the vengeful gaze of thos ehe hleped banished.:

"Hey, I apologized enough in the damn movie room, and I hav ebene far to nice wit hthe GL ring."

Was just glad the damn kid got his, the one with the glasses.:

Chris Lang 12-29-2006 10:26 PM

Cologne was actually somewhat relieved when the host brought everyone back to the setting of the game. She did not truly believe even the combined powers of everyone there would have made a dent in the walls of the 'endless Christmas movie room'.

But she had to encourage them to try. It was better than just waiting around for something to happen, or just hoping that their host would just send them all back home because they were no longer needed.

The first thing Cologne did upon arrival was look at the body of Fin Fang Foom. "Very impressive." she remarked. "I was wondering just how the renegade elves would manage this one."

"However, one mustn't get me wrong." she said to all those who were listening. "I take what the traitor has done to myself and my companions very seriously. If our host is feeling in a generous mood, I would like to be able to help decide the fate of the last renegade elf if and when he is caught."

She almost finished there, but spoke again. "Since this game is almost over, I suppose there's little point in even trying to drag our latest body to the freezer room. We probably will not stay here once it is over, so we won't have to deal with the smell and the rot. Still, if any of you is willing to try moving the dragon's body, I will not stop you."

The Bard shrugged and replied:

"Well, it is evident that it was not me. While I am average in sword skills, Triple F would squash my ass fallter than a pancake.

However, it seems I may have jumped the gun somewhat in voitng for Arch. It seems Ronan is equally ample to commit this crime. I wil lwait for what the others have to say before I make my descision.

Well, I won't listen to the Hulk, as he will probably blame me again, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary."

After being wrongfully accused and banished, Doom finally breaks his silence

Bah! You are all stupid fools! I told you I was not the traitor! But did you listen? No! You have ALL made a powerful enemy today! You will all pay!

What is this? A box from Santa? It cannot be! It is an Official High Energy Plutonium Powered 500 Blast Radial Precision Continuum Transfunctioner! He has finally granted my request! Now I shall gain my revenge on all of you idiots and unimaginable power shall be mine!

Archie: Golly! He blew his brains out!

OOC: Hey guys. Sorry for my inactivity. My computer is currently down and I'm using my friend's laptop. Too bad I got banished. And I was having so much fun too. Oh well. I'll try to make an appearance during the final banishment. But if i don't, it's been a blast playing Doom, making up flashbacks and interacting with everybody. Happy belated Holidays and Happy New Year!

Cologne just gave a sad sigh.

"I was going to warn him that he'd blow his brains out. But I didn't think he would actually receive the Transfunctioner he wanted. And I had other things on my mind."

Cologne looked at the mess left behind briefly. "We may or may not have seen the last of Dr. Doom. If it is any consolation to him, wherever he is, I doubted he was one of the renegade elves. I did not believe our host would be that obvious."

OOC: A shame about your computer. Anyway, I've enjoyed your posts here in the Traitor Game, even if at one point you got a little too carried away with the flashbacks, having one every other post. I gather this last post was a way of saying goodbye to Doom just in case you aren't there during the final banishment and epilogue and whatever happens. But anyway, thanks for giving this story some great comic relief.
Sorry, but there's a change in plans. I realized that this sunday is the end of the year, so we're moving the vote till tuesday at 10. Sorry about that, guys.
OOC: That's okay with me. We can just continue with discussions of the case and further the subplots about characters getting ready to leave the workshop until then.

IC:

Cologne gazed at the Official High Energy Plutonium Powered 500 Blast Radial Precision Continuum Transfunctioner that Dr. Doom had dropped. "We must keep this out of reach of the suspects." Cologne said, addressing everyone except Ronan, Archie, and the Bard.

"This device is dangerous enough that someone careless with it could blow his brains out. We don't want the renegade getting his hands on it and doing it deliberately. And we'd best not use it ourselves unless we have to. It is not some little Red Ryder BB gun."

Cologne was not entirely sure what a Precision Continuum Transfunctioner was. This technobabble was not something she understood very well. Could it be re-assembled into some means of getting them home without their host's help? Or was it only useful as a weapon? She decided it was best to deal with it later.

"For now, let us take one more trip to the kitchen."

Cologne headed off to the kitchen, followed by a familiar strange figure in an orange parka. It was Kenny McCormick, who Cologne had sensed was no stranger to being returned from the dead. His speech was strange, but he appeared willing to help.

Cologne did not know if Donna Troy would join her in the kitchen or not. In any case, Cologne began pouring all the eggnog in the kitchen down the drain. "Our murderer does not seem to use the same method twice...at least not on the official players...but it's better to be safe than sorry."

tangentman 12-31-2006 03:20 AM

Perhaps Cologne couldn't know if Donna Troy would join her in the kitchen, because the real question was which Donna Troy would join her? Not even the reality-warping Santa Claus could have expected the...complications...that resulted from Wonder Girl's murder.

Instead of one Donna, Cologne suddenly found herself joined by five identical versions of them. The first was a teenage girl who was a few years younger than the Donna the players originally met. She wore a toga-like version of the same costume worn by her more famous older sister. Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail and she wore red ballerina slippers. The girl smiled brightly when she saw Archie.

Slipping out of the kitchen, Wonder Girl (the younger one) walked up beside the Riverdale Redhead. "Hi!" She gave Archie a chipper smile. "What's got you looking so beat, Tiger?"

Back in the kitchen, the other Donnas attempted to process what had happened. The Donna that everyone knew from the game shook her head at the sight of the eggnog. "No wonder I had an upset stomach from drinking that! Geez, you can't even trust the eggnog n this place!"

A third Donna Troy that looked about two years older than the second shook her head. This Donna had short, carefully coiffed hair. Her costume was more flamboyant than the others--a black tunic with a starfield, golden shoulderpads with silver trimming, heavy bracers and boots of similar design with red and blue added, filled with a strange netting; a silver pleated mini-skirt lined her slender waist tied with a yellow sash joined by a red gem; she wore lovely silver crescent earrings. She also seemed a little more confused than the first two Donnas. "What in Rhea's name am I doing here? The last thing I remembered, I was helping the Titans fend off Wildebeests. Then, I'm suddenly at...am I really seeing this? Santa's workshop?"

A fourth woman with longer hair and a stylish red, white, and black uniform eyed the men in the room. She stared curiously at the Green Lantern. "Kyle? The villain behind this got you, too?" Approaching Kyle, this Donna reached out toward his face. A gloved hand tenderly caressed his cheek.

The final Donna stood away from the gathering with the Flash. While the others reacted to their situation, Donna Troy watched the entire proceeding with a knowing look. The knowledge of the ages filled her eyes. Her costume combined elements of her "Wonder Girl" and "Troia" personae--the costume was a stylish cut in the pattern of her classic "Wonder Girl" look. However, this suit was black with the shimmering starfield of the "Troia" variant. She wore a silver eagle motif on a necklace. Sleek silver bracelets, armbands, and boots completed the look.

Donna Troy--the one, true version--confided new knowledge in Flash. "I remember when this happened--it was before the 'Crisis On Infinite Earths', and right before you...helped us defeat the Society." Her tone quickly changed, as if just narrowly stopping herself from saying too much. "The Santa Claus of Earth Y conspired to murder all the heroes and villains of the multiverse who had forgotten to send him 'thank you' letters for Christmas gifts. If I remember correctly, he used Christmas motifs to turn us against each other and kill us off in his sick game."

With a twinkle in her eye, Donna added, "I can't say too much without sabotaging the future. However, remember what I said about 'Christmas colors'. See who is left and you should know who is the other Renegade Elf."

Chris Lang 12-31-2006 09:56 AM
Donna Troy--the one, true version--confided new knowledge in Flash. "I remember when this happened--it was before the 'Crisis On Infinite Earths', and right before you...helped us defeat the Society." Her tone quickly changed, as if just narrowly stopping herself from saying too much. "The Santa Claus of Earth Y conspired to murder all the heroes and villains of the multiverse who had forgotten to send him 'thank you' letters for Christmas gifts. After all that had happened here, Cologne thought that nothing that happened in this place could surprise her. However, this twist was something she had not expected. And, she surmised, her host had not expected this either.

The Donna she had known from the game was now accompanied by four of her alternate selves. The first appeared to be a younger version of Donna. Cologne was not sure what to call this younger version to differentiate her from the Wonder Girl she had known.

The Donna who had mentioned Rhea in her exclamation was one who did have another name. Cologne would refer to that one as Troia.

The Donna wearing the red and black uniform appeared to be called Darkstar. She and Troia appeared to be a few years older than the Donna they knew.

The last Donna intrigued Cologne. If what she had overheard this future Donna say to the Flash was any indication, she appeared to remember at least a few details of this 'Traitor Game'. This gave Cologne some hope. It meant that perhaps at least some of the people here would make it back to their home worlds.

Cologne approached the last Donna. "You appear to be from a future in which all this is long in your past. However, I would not be surprised if somehow you have been made to forget the identity of the last renegade elf so that you could not tell us who he is. You may remember a few details of the renegade's identity, but not exactly who he is."

Cologne then turned to the Donna she had known. "I do not know how long your counterparts are going to stay here, though we could certainly use their help if our host and his cloaked assistant are not willing to just let us leave when the game is over. I wish I could be sure that the Bard is not the last renegade elf, because he has the ability to summon a number of powerful companions to help him. It would be good to have him on our side."

"One more thing, Donna. Just because we have met a future version of yourself who has made it back to her own universe, it shouldn't mean you should get over-confident. You should continue to act as if you don't know whether or not you'll get home, but you will try to return home anyway. That future Donna is a Donna you may or may not become."

Cologne looked once again at the future Donna. She sensed that this future Donna had been through a lot of hardship, but had come through it stronger and wiser. Cologne had known that Donna Troy had great potential. It gave Cologne comfort to know that at least in some possible future, that potential would not go unfulfilled.

Hey everyone, just wanted to say Happy Almost new year. I probably won't be on much, so yeah, I'll talk to you guys later. Also, renegade, send me the final kill by tuesday, so we can finish this thing off. I have a couple of surprises in mind, including the reveal of the cloaked figure. Well, later people.

Jeff-E 12-31-2006 07:23 PM

Ronan watched the exiled people come back to the workshop including his old ally Doom:

So the Cl-Aus has allowed you monkey meat sacks back in to the Workshop... interesting, and we are down to only two candidates for the final renegade. Who shall be the next to be exiled, the one calling himself the Bard, or the Terran monkey who possess' the quantum bands... how do you damnable humans always come in to possession of these objects? I must debate which of you fools is the renegade, you both seem totally incompetent.

OoC-Gotta go, but HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!!!

tangentman 12-31-2006 07:54 PM

The Donnas listened thoughtfully to Cologne's advice. Nodding together, they answered in unison, "I'll find a way to stop Santa!" Realizing what had happened, each "twin" laughed at the amazing like-mindedness. Donna Troy spoke with confidence when she alone replied. "Santa is devious, and he chose devious minds to kill us. Er, you." She cut her eyes toward Wonder Girl.

Wonder Girl listened, but kept watching the others at the same time. "Maybe we need a two-headed attack? Half of us confront Santa and his flunkies. The other half work on a way of breaking through the barrier which keeps us stuck here." She looked at Cologne and her "twin" with eagerness for their thoughts.

Troia (the short-haired one) interjected her own thought on the matter. "You know, one of the gifts the Titans gave me was the power to project memories for everyone to see. With the Gift of Mnemosyne and Crius, I should be able to learn the identify of the other killer by probing the minds of his victims."

Meanwhile, the younger Wonder Girl watched Ronan bellow and accuse. The "Amazon Doll" frowned at the Kree, while protectively clutching Archie's arm. "You leave Archie alone! I think he's positively groovy!" Looking Ronan over, she snorted in contempt and added, "Besides, you're just a loud, uncool cat." Releasing Archie's arm for a moment, she joined her fingers together in mid-air, bringing them down in a block-shaped configuration. "You're nothing but a big square!"

Chris Lang 12-31-2006 10:26 PM

Cologne turned to the alternate version of Donna Troy who was known as Troia. "I am not sure how much good your strategy will do. Most of the victims did not get a good look at their attacker when it happened. It was as I expected back when the Super-Skrull was killed."

Cologne turned to address the group as a whole. "This is probably going to be one of the last times I discuss the renegade elves, for I wish to turn my attention to our host and his cloaked assistant." she announced. "They may be our means out of here, or they may be obstacles in our path. But before we can leave, we must determine the identity of the last renegade elf."

"There are only three suspects remaining. Ronan the Accuser, Archie Andrews, and the Bard."

Cologne gave a frustrated sigh as she continued. "I wish I knew which one was the right one. All any of us have are suspicions. I could make reasoned arguments as to why each of them could be our murderer, and turn out to be wrong. I deeply regret that I was wrong about the Hulk and Green Lantern. I wish to make my apologies to both of them."

"All I can do is give what you would call the pros and cons about each of them. First, Archie Andrews."

"Archie Andrews is an ordinary teenager from a place he refers to as Riverdale. Somehow, he came into possession of a source of great power. These Quantum Bands are perhaps even more powerful than Green Lantern's ring. With these in his possession, he could have killed the Super-Skrull. And he might have been able to devise a means of slicing off Fin Fang Foom's tail.

"But do the Quantum Bands give him the strength to attack me from behind and overpower me as fast as he did? Is he strong enough to strangle a dragon with his own tail? Can he create a radioactive isotope with the Quantum Bands? I do not know."

"Archie has appeared to be genuinely inept at handling the Quantum Bands, and genuinely shocked at the murders occuring around him. This may mean he is innocent. Or it may mean he is a better actor than many have given him credit for."

"Now, let me turn to the Hulk's pet suspect, the Bard."

"The Bard comes from a world where creatures such as dragons are certainly not unheard of. His world is ruled by what some might refer to as 'sword and sorcery'. After Doom's accident with the Transfunctioner, I checked some of the data he had stored on his scanner. Apparently, the Bard is capable of summoning powerful allies to assist him, or, to be more accurate, do all his dirty work for him. These include such beings as the Brute, the Rogue, and the Enchantress, to name only three of at least sixteen of these allies."

"Some of these allies are certainly capable of carrying out many of the murders. But are any of them capable of creating a radioactive isotope? Is the means to create a radioactive isotope even available to anyone in the Bard's universe? I do not know."

"Lastly, we come to Ronan the Accuser."

"Ronan the Accuser is probably one of the likelier suspects. He certainly has the means of committing most of the murders. I am sure that he is capable of sneaking up on me and catching me off guard. And he may even be capable of creating a radioactive isotope and placing it in someone's drink."

"The question is, is Ronan too obvious, considering the first victim was the Super-Skrull? One is tempted to eliminate him out of doubt that he would make himself that obvious. Keep in mind that while our host decides who the renegade elves are, it is the renegade elves themselves who choose the victim. Ronan may have chosen the Super-Skrull out of hatred toward him, and he may have gambled that we would consider him too obvious. If that was his strategy, it appears to have worked. A great majority of people voted for the Joker the first round, and we turned our attention to other suspects in the rounds that followed."

Cologne paused. "I cannot tell you which one to choose. I have been wrong before. This time is our last chance to catch the renegade elf. After that, all bets are off. I wish I knew who the renegade elf was. But I have no more advice to give you. All you can do is decide who is the most likely suspect."

With a sigh, Cologne turned away from Archie, Ronan, and the Bard. She had done all she could for them. Now was the time to talk with those who had already been cleared from suspicion, and try to find a way out of this place.

Ant-Man has been in ant size since his return from banishment. Ant-Man is bitter towards the house guests who voted for him to be banished. He stays ant size to avoid any contact with the house guests.

Happy New Year everyone. It's 2007. Suck it, 2006. This year, hopefully, will be much better and more fulfilling. Anyway, my final renegade, you must send me the kill before tomorrow at ten, which is the final kill. I got an ending in mind that'll be a nice way to end off this adventure.

darkkeeperjr 01-01-2007 12:06 PM

I would like someone to consider my idea of having low tech humans in the next game. it may make the kills more interesting. iron man with out the armor or kirk with out his phaser or batman with out his belt. people like Tarzan or Holmes.

Three of the Donnas laughed good-naturedly when they heard Cologne's theories. At least they had the grace to look sheepish when they realized what they'd done. The "final" Donna Troy smiled warmly at her sister-Amazon-in-spirit, Cologne. "That sounds good, Cologne, but you're thinking too hard about it. I think the answer is actually a very simple one."

Donna Troy paused long enough to get most of the guests' attention. "Everyone please listen. You too, Ant-Man, come on out." Surveying the room, Donna spoke again after she'd looked each person in the eye. "Santa Claus is working a Christmas theme with the murders. We've seen objects usually associated with Christmas used as murder weapons--sleighs, reindeer antlers, candy canes, eggnog." She smiled wryly at the last part.

"It only seems natural that Santa would assign Christmas colors to his elves, too. We already learned that a few banished (plus a killer elf) wore red in some way--Ant-Man, Flash. There were also 'elves' who wore or were green--Luthor, Hulk. One killer elf wore red...it only follows that the remaining killer is wearing green." Donna looked pointedly at Ronan's armor.
The Hulk approached Cologne, "I for one would looooove to thank you for your input you miserable old biddy. You stabbed in the back from the grave. Nice. You're worse than Stark ever was."

"Oh sure, you couldn't supply us with this info before selling me out to the last of the three losers. Once again, thanks. Well, at least this is out in the open now. I don't know what the others are waiting for anyway. Archie is just going to vote against the Bard again. That means Ronan should just follow suit. The Bard is finished." Hulk strode towards the minstrel. "Oh, even when this is all over, you and me are going to have a little talk, whether you turn out to be the traitor or not."

Anthony Johanson 01-01-2007 08:53 PM

The Bard thought about Cologne, WOnder Girl, and The Hulk's input. With all the info in mind, he had come to a conclusion:

"First off, I would like to issue an apology to Archie Andrews. It seems that I may have made a mistake in voting for you the past round. Hopefully we can put this behind us and let bygones be bygones.

Second off, I would like to cast my vote for the traitor. The traitor is... Ronan the Accuser. Sure, this may seem like an obvious pick, but it makes the msot sense in my mind. Ruthless, Skrull-Hater, hence the first kill, and havign the technological aptitude to pull of the murder."

The Bard then turned towards the Hulk, and inquired:

"What do you want to talk about? Well, other than the fact that you are wrong on a molecular level."

"I wish I could be as convinced as you were that the Bard is the renegade elf." Cologne said to the Hulk. "But I do not know much about the world the Bard comes from. I do not know if he or any of the allies he could summon would have access to a radioactive isotope."
Donna Troy paused long enough to get most of the guests' attention. "Everyone please listen. "Very interesting logic. I am proud of you for attempting to figure out just how our host would think. It may be possible that you are right. In any case, Ronan is a good suspect for just about all of the murders. His Kree technology could have been behind the explosive sleigh and the radioactive isotope. And he is certainly strong enough to overpower me as quickly as he did. He is probably also capable of cutting off Fin Fang Foom's tail."

"I am wondering about the graffiti, though. I do not know enough about Ronan the Accuser to know if writing messages in blood is in his character. Then again, that may be irrelevant. It's hard to tell whose idea the graffiti was."

"The Bard and Archie, on the other hand, both have a certain lack of maturity that would lead them to do such things. Then again, neither of them come from the same universe as Onslaught, so what would they care about mutant rights? Ronan, on the other hand, does come from the same universe."

Cologne sighed. "Maybe you're right, Donna. Maybe I do overthink these things. But I do believe that in situations like these, overthinking is better than the other extreme."

"In any case, we are both no longer elligible to vote. The vote is left between the three of them. We can advise them, but Archie, the Bard, and Ronan are the ones who will make the call."

"One way or another, however, we are going to find out the last renegade elf's identity. But since we are no longer officially 'in' the game, the renegade elf is their problem, not ours. We have bigger worries to deal with. I suggest we turn to how we are going to return home."

first vote for the round. Jeff-E and Indigo al better get their votes in by tomorrow night at 10, or else the final vote will only be from one person.

Jeff-E/Ronan the Accuser-1 (Anthony Johanson)

Archie was overjoyed to see the rest of the players resurrected, but was dismayed when he realized they could not participate meaningfully....

He raised his arms and aimed them at The Bard and Ronan..

"N-now, don't you killers come any closer!" he said, trembling..."I think it has to be Ronan,"

Jeff-E 01-02-2007 09:36 AM

The votes were cast and Ronan knew he was the next to be eliminated, however he decided to cast his vote anyway:

You pathetic monkey's you really think a Kree accuser would come all the way from Hala to simply kill a few freak humans? I was forced in to this game not of my own volition and as such was never concidered as a choice for the renegade. I know one of you is the traitor since it is not myself but if the votes are already cast for myself I shall not let some Terran meat sack be my downfall so I cast my vote for myself Ronan the Accuser

Cologne returned to her quarters for what would probably be the final time. She gatherered together everything she had left behind there, wrote a few letters, and returned to the main meeting area.

"The final banishment is tonight." Cologne announced. "After that, we do not really know what will happen. Will our host let us go, or will he have some nasty surprise in store for us? Maybe our host will be generous enough to do something for us. But that Cloaked Figure concerns me."

"We may be returned home, or maybe not. Maybe," Cologne said with a knowing smile, "we may get that straight fight that some of you have been waiting for all this time." Her smile faded as she continued. "We should be prepared for anything, for literally anything can happen once the last banishment is over."

"It may be that we may be sent home...or sent elsewhere...so fast we do not get a chance to say goodbye to each other. On the other hand, we may have to linger here for a bit. As I said, we should be prepared for anything."

Cologne handed out envelopes to both the Wonder Girl she had known for this entire game, and the future Donna Troy who remembered this game as part of her past. She then proceeded to hand out envelopes to the Hulk, Green Lantern, the Flash, Archie Andrews and the Bard. She had a few envelopes remaining, addressed to others in the group. These she laid on the center table, hoping the others would claim them.

"All those are just in case we do not get a chance to say our farewells later. I must say that it has been...interesting, to say the least... meeting all of you. If I ever return home, I will be sure to write about this whole experience in my journal."

Cologne then just stood there for a while, watching the proceedings with interest.

The Bard laughed, and replied:

"In which case, may I take a raincheck on that. Is the 12th of Never good for you?"

The Re-presentation will continue in Part 27, where we get the Big Reveal.
