Cologne could not sleep. This whole situation was troublesome indeed.

Onslaught's death bothered Cologne. It was not as if she had taken a liking to him, but in this situation, he could have been a valuable ally when it came time to escape from this place.

The hooded figure's presence was worrisome. No one appeared to have any idea who or what this being was, or what it would do if let loose from 'Santa's leash'. Cologne did not like the idea of having a possible enemy whom she knew absolutely nothing about.

The King was up to his tricks, but he seemed to have additional surprises for those who voted against him, and another surprise for the Joker.

The group once again gathered in the main meeting area. Cologne listened in on the discussions with interest. Despite the fact that the first murder had been committed by the 'Good Elf', and not the 'Renegade Elves', people were still speculating on who might have had the skill or expertise to fix a broken power-rerouter, or who might have had the power re-rerouter in the first place.

Cologne spoke up. "I feel I should remind you that Onslaught was NOT killed by one of the renegade elves. He was killed by the 'Good Elf', who wants the renegade elves disposed of just as much as most of us. Trying to expose his or her identity may endanger the 'Good Elf'. The 'Good Elf' is on our side. We should concentrate on the renegade elves within our midst."

Cologne gave a few people, including the boy detective, signifigant glances. "My choice for banishment is still the Joker, despite my advising him to to say whether or not he is voting for Fin Fang Foom. If any of you have made any choices, be sure to place emphasis in your voice when announcing them."

OOC: That's the in-character way of saying put your choices for who should be banished in bold text, as Weirdopky told us to earlier.

OOC: Forget I said anything then. It's just a little confusing for people scanning over pages upon pages of content between log-ins. Not your fault but the format of the game, IMO, tends to make any complications in storytelling confusing.

Chris Lang 12-12-2006 12:11 PM
"The two people we're concerned with voting away right now haven't made a move yet. And their first kill will be tonight unless we stop them. But if we banish the guilty party in time, there will be no murder tonight..."
Cologne nodded. "At least we agree on one point. Finding out the identity of the Good Elf will not prevent the Renegade Elves from committing any more murders. But you forget that there is more than one renegade. And according to the rules of this game, we can only dispose of one person at a time. Should we successfully identity one of the renegades, the other would still be here. The other renegade would still be capable of committing another murder, unless the 'Good Elf' murdered him first."

OOC: I'm pretending Luthor said the part I quoted above as part of the overall discussion about Onslaught's murder, and not as a reply to Jimmy/Conan's thoughts.

He crept near Cologne, and spoke in a soft voice while having his arms behind his head.

"Oi oba-sama, don't give me that look. I knew exactly what that fatso said. However, I only have a hunch about who the Renega Elves could be, and he isn't among us. After the Rogue Watcher called up Ronan, Doom thought to himself

(Hmm. This should be most interesting. Ronan is one of my allies in this game, but this testimony is something I must hear. He might in fact be one of the traitors. And if he is, who might be his partner? Hmmm Ronan does rhyme with...Conan!)

As you can see, Doom is not exactly Sherlock Holmes.

What?! You dare mock my deduction skills, Mr. Narrator? You will pay dire consequences!

OOC: This will probably be it for me today. I got an exam to fail, i mean take, right now. I also got an exam tomorrow I got to study for. I'll try to post tonight after the first banishment, but I'll be sure to cast my vote sometime tomorrow (that is if i'm not eliminated). If anybody communicates to Dr. Doom during my absence, I'll give them all Doom's response tomorrow.

"And any reading that Green Lantern would detect with his fabulous little dime store costume jewelry trinket would be off. He might have a chance if he knew how to interpret its data. Unfortunately, initial analysis indicates that Doom, myself and the Joker are the only ones in this room with sufficient brainpower coupled with the atypical neurology necessary to process the scans necessary while adjusting for the appropriate calculations."

"Short answer? It ain't happening, kid. Now I have some work to do..."

With that elaborate lie having been told, he lifts his armored glove and begins scanning for the excess energy drained from Onslaught. He certainly has his suspicions as to where it is...

But the others, he rationalizes, must NOT be allowed to know the Good Elf's identity. They would turn on the vigilante in our midst. Luthor has a very good idea where to start in looking for the heightened energy signature.

Just to clear things up, people keep thinking the banishment and kill is tonight. I said Wednesday at 10pm EST. Did anybody see that? Well, anyway, you have another day. SO whoever hasn't voted should do soon.

Weirdopky 12-12-2006 04:22 PM

Santa, having not made an appearance since the kill, decided to pop in, and check on his friend, Mr. Cloaked Figure.

Ah, I see you took care of the body? Also, I noticed how the voting was going. All I have to say is, ah. By the way, when my good friend in the cloak removed the body, he also removed the traces of radiation from teh body that came from the rerouter. Sorry, but if I left them there, it may become too easy, and I wouldn't want that, now would I? Well, I'm off to play Texas Holdem with my pal The Easter Bunny and some of the playboy bunnies, so I'll see you losers later. Don't worry though, I'll still be able to keep an eye on you. Have fun. Ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!

And with that, he poofed away, which meant that even though he could see what was going on, he couldn't keep the CF on his leash very much.

Well, well, well. What have we here? The big fatso's gone for now? Time to do some crazy shit.

You would think that the Cloaked figure would try to kill someone, but instead, he went to the middle of the main room, and started dancing to a remix of "Let it Snow." Then, he waved his hands at everyone, & made them all wear pink ballerina's tutus.

Ha ha ha. Now you guys look great. I must laugh. Ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!!!
